Dr. Ed de la Vega earned a DDS degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He also has completed a general residency training at the McGill University School of Dentistry in Montreal, Canada.

Dr Ed, as he is commonly called by his patients is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Dentistry International.

He is a former member of the State of California Board of Dental Examiners and a Past President of the Los Angeles Dental Society and the Southern California Filipino Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
